Why "Samoona"?

Samoona takes its name from samoon, the beloved Iraqi bread that has been part of everyday life for generations.

Our menu is inspired by the rich culinary heritage of Mesopotamia—the ancient land between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, and one of the world's earliest centers of civilization.

From fragrant rice and slow-cooked meats to grilled dishes, fresh breads, bold spices, and vibrant flavors, many of the foods enjoyed in Iraq today reflect this deep history.

At Samoona, we bring these traditions to the table through fresh, flavorful Iraqi street food and Middle Eastern cuisine, made to be shared and enjoyed.

The Samoona Promise

At Samoona, we believe great food starts with real ingredients, bold flavors, and recipes rooted in tradition.
